Set on a beautifully scenic plantation, this 250-year-old estate is an incredibly peaceful retreat surrounded by palms, bananas and breadfruit trees. Spread widely across the plantation are 19 one and two-bedroom free-standing cottages, each tucked away amongst the lush tropical gardens. Hidden within Fond Doux Plantation’s grounds are two lovely swimming pools, including a secluded multi-level pool that overlooks a palm-sprinkled valley, providing plenty of space to relax and unwind. Nature lovers can also enjoy exploring the estate’s own walking trail, which leads to a spectacular viewpoint overlooking Petit Piton, whilst the renowned Tet Paul Nature Trail is located just a short distance away.

At the heart of the plantation is an open-air, rustic restaurant serving a combination of Creole and international cuisine, with many ingredients sourced directly from the estate’s own fruit and vegetable gardens. Lunches are often served buffet-style, whilst evenings have a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere. You may wish to hire a car for at least part of your stay, although Fond Doux also provides a complimentary daily shuttle to the beautiful nearby Sugar Beach.
